How do I transfer my Library from Papers to ReadCube Papers?

Easily migrate your Papers 3 library into ReadCube Papers while retaining all of your annotations and organization from your current Papers 3 library. We also have a video to walk you through the process, or you can read through the step-by-step process below:

First, please check to make sure that you are running the most up to date version of Papers 3 for Mac 3.4.25 (600). 

Next, open the new Papers desktop app. If you don’t already have a ReadCube Papers account you will have the opportunity to create one or log in if you already have an account. 

Lastly, head to File > Import from Papers 3 option.

The transfer will begin immediately, but please note it may take some time to move over your library. We have detailed instructions on what to do if you think the importer is stuck or you’re not seeing all your PDFs move over.
